While the 2021 Volvo XC90 is a worthy competitor, unfortunately, it falls short on performance when compared to the MDX. The Intercooled Turbo Premium Unleaded I-4 engine puts out a lackluster 250-HP and 258 lb-ft of torque - all handled with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
