Performance

The MDX Type S comes with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine with a beastly 355-horsepower and 354 lb.-ft. of torque. And it comes with a precision performance-tuned 10-speed automatic transmission that shifts like a hot knife through butter. Thanks to its specially tuned, rear-biased Super Handling AWD system, it hugs every corner you want to conquer without breaking a sweat. With front Brembo brakes, you can have superior stopping power at your feet.

Sport Styling

The outside of the MDX has been given a sleek, stylish look that features the logo and branding of the Type S throughout. With visual additions that include a front splitter and large grille opening designed to direct 10% more air into the engine bay. And for that extra added look, the grille is flanked by new side vents that send air into the sub-radiator on either side of the engine. And if that wasn’t cool enough, the Type S MDX sits on 21-inch wheels with 275/40ZR21 Continental ContiSeal tires, making them the first self-sealing tires ever equipped on an Acura.
