Acura’s given plenty of attention to the Precision EV Concept’s interior styling. Featuring what the automaker refers to as “high-performance driver sightlines,” the driving position sits lower than usual. Inspired by Formula 1 car cockpits, other notable features include a yoke-style steering wheel well-positioned among curved digital displays.

A Unique Driving Experience

Acura also outfitted their new concept car with distinct driving and performance modes. The Instinctive Drive mode highlights the vehicle’s performance. In this mode, the cabin is transformed with red lighting and racy engine sounds, allowing drivers to bring out their inner Formula 1 champion.

The Spiritual Lounge mode brings comfortable ambient lighting and even pleasant scents into the cabin, all while making the vehicle fully autonomous. Both the steering wheels and pedals retract, displays go transparent, and the seats recline. There are even oceanic images projected onto the surface of the vehicle for a unique, pleasant experience as passengers are transported to their destination.

Acura’s Precision EV Concept Is Changing the EV Landscape

While the Acura Precision EV Concept is only a concept—for now—it’s setting new standards for electric vehicles.
